About University of Engineering and Management.

UEM Kolkata was established in the year 2014 by Act No 25 of 2014 of Govt of West Bengal. Being located in New Town, the Smart City of Eastern India and very near to the Netaji Subhash International Airport, the students of the University are exposed to the top corporates. UEM Kolkata has stood one out of the top 10 institutes of India including all IITs and all NITs of the country in the NPTEL program ranked by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Chennai.

About Cyclothon


Aiming to encourage young people to lead healthy lifestyles and to support cycling as a sustainable mode of transportation, the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata hosts Cyclothon, an annual cycling marathon.


With a focus on celebrating the essence of womanhood with the tagline #RideWithResilience, the sixth edition is scheduled for March 3, 2024. Participants are invited to support constructive social change in this forthcoming UEM-IEM Cyclothon edition.


Cycling is not just a mode of transportation but a holistic approach to promoting personal well-being and environmental sustainability. In the hustle and bustle of modern life, short cycling trips offer a convenient and time-efficient means to integrate physical activity into daily routines, contributing to improved cardiovascular health, muscle tone, and overall fitness.
